Aerogel Insulation Blanket

SD Tech's aerogel insulation blanket is currently the most superior insulating material available. The pore diameter of aerogel is smaller than the mean free path of air molecules, allowing them to remain nearly stationary, preventing heat transfer by convection. Furthermore, aerogel's low density and complex nano-network structure simultaneously block heat transfer in both the solid and gas phases. The infinitely continuous micropore wall structure effectively blocks even radiant heat, minimizing heat loss.

1. Characteristic
  • Excellent insulation performance - With extremely low thermal conductivity, it provides insulation 3-5 times more effectively than traditional insulation materials. This reduces heat loss, increases space utilization, and maintains excellent performance even in high-temperature environments.
  • Fireproof and waterproof performance - The fireproof rating meets the national building material Class A fireproof standards, and the water repellency rate is over 99%, effectively blocking the penetration of water or water vapor.
  • Heat resistance and durability - The three-dimensional nano-porous structure of the aerogel maintains long-term stability and heat resistance with little structural deformation or particle loss even after long-term use.
