Insulating Firebrick

SD Tech's insulating bricks are manufactured primarily from high-purity refractory clay, with a service temperature range of 1,100°C to 1,700°C. Each product grade is designed to meet various heat treatment and processing requirements, with higher-temperature products gradually increasing the aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) content. During the manufacturing process, organic fillers are burned to form a uniform, precise pore structure, ensuring excellent insulation and stable quality.

1. Characteristic
  • Low Thermal Conductivity, Low Specific Gravity - Low thermal conductivity and low heat capacity provide excellent insulation
  • High Purity, Low Impurity Content - High purity and low iron and alkaline content ensure stability even in reducing environments
  • Excellent heat and pressure resistance - Excellent thermal stability allows for use in thin-walled structures
  • Excellent fire resistance - High alumina content delivers outstanding fire resistance
  • Excellent processability - Can be processed into various shapes and minimizes joints
2. Use
  • Inner or auxiliary insulation layer of refractory material
  • Suitable as refractory insulation for various industrial furnaces and heat treatment equipment, including kilns, heat treatment furnaces, flues, heating devices, regeneration devices, and decomposition furnaces
